\n With his electronic music and a wide range of mainly known alternative vocalists, he succeeded in building a bridge between the commercial and the alternative scene.<\/span>

DIMARO is currently one of Belgium\u2019s most promising DJ\u2019s. He is one of these uncommon artists whose unique, energetic, varied musical style simply doesn\u2019t fit in any box. This makes his music so exciting and surprising.<\/span><\/p>\n

DIMARO is known as an experienced club and festival DJ. His list of DJ performances sounds like a clubbing guide to the hip clubs and huge festivals like: Tomorrowland (7 times!), TomorrowWorld, Laundry Day, Ostend Beach, Daydream, Summer Festival and many more. He always inspires the big crowds with his extraordinary skill in creating a well-balanced mix of different uplifting styles in Dance music, but also his extraordinary club performances at famous clubs like Carre and VIP Room (St tropez) make DIMARO a well-established name in the international Dance scene.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a producer DIMARO is also influenced by many different styles of music. They make his sound unique, incommensurable and characterized by a distinctive recognition value. Laurent Wery has been a professional DJ for many years and in the meantime his list of references and club residences has become rather impressive. He has been or is a resident DJ at Carr\u00e9 (B), Caf\u00e9 Local (B), Biazaar (B), Highstreet (B), Versuz (B), Riva (B), Zenith (B), Mondial (NL) and Bozzini (NL). He is regularly requested to play at major events.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore Laurent creates a weekly 60 minute radioshow called ‘Global Club Vibes’. The mix is composed of some of the hottest tracks of the moment in the club scene and is broadcasted by well over 60 radiostations in Europe. The radioshow is also available as a podcast on iTunes.<\/span><\/p>\n

As an in demand drumming artist\/demonstrator and energetic live E-drummer with international Drum\u2019n\u2019Bass artist Netsky and his own \u201cMichael Schack #sMashup\u201d project (formerly SquarElectric), Belgian drummer\/producer Michael Schack travels the world to perform on festival main stages, in concert venues, at international music events and drum festivals.<\/span>
\n Through his performances in the US, Europe, Asia and Australia, he\u2019s been making his name as one of the most powerful and appreciated solo performing E-Drummers and \u201cAcouTronic\u201d #Hybrid Drummers.<\/span>
\n Since 2001, he\u2019s been an instrument development consultant and contributing composer and sound designer to Roland Japan\u2019s Electronic Percussion Department, and in such has been involved in the development of the latest TD-50 V-Drums, SPD-30, SPD-SX and TM-2 Trigger module.<\/span>
\n In November 2014, the internationally acclaimed Hospital Records and Loopmasters labels released Michael\u2019s first and highly acclaimed Sample Pack, \u201cHybrid Beats Session\u201d. In 2014 and 2015 he was elected \u201cE-Drummer Of The Year\u201d by readers of Digital Drummer Magazine and received the \u201cAll Time Favorite Drummer\u201d Award for the Benelux countries in the 2015 Dutch Slagwerkkrant\u2019s Readers Poll.<\/span>

It all started way back in 1994, when the owner of a small local club asked Cyrix to play a few tunes during the club’s Summer season.\u00a0Being grown up in a family where music always had had a front row seat, he didn’t hesitate to start what was to become at first a local succesful career, playing every possible club in the city of Torhout and surrounding. In a few years he grew from club music to the music he plays today, alongside picking up acid, electro, breakcore and making contacts in almost every subgenre around techno.\u00a0This way he soon joined Eernegem based RRP (Redux Remix Projects), a partnership between various dj’s, including Xplovision and Psychot-X.<\/span>
\n The real boost came quite sudden by winning two of Belgium’s major dj-contests in the summer of 2003: Cyrix was selected out of 250+ mixtapes to open the first (and only) I love Techno Outdoor festival in Lommel, six weeks after playing at one of the first Young Talent Corners for Kozzmozz in Gent.\u00a0Appereances on Studio Brussel’s Switch followed, numerous parties jumped on the hype created around him and I love Techno even invited him for another set on their 2003 Indoor edition.<\/span><\/p>\n
